The Samsung S3 has an 8MP camera which I find does the job in most cases but as always the digital 4x zoom is useless.

Picked up this 12x zoom lens from ebay for £27. Comes with a phone backing case that the lens screws into and a tripod stand.

Does the job as you can see above in the before and after photos.

It only does 12x zoom, it does not zoom in and out. But you can grab different lenses like wide angle and fish eye. Have not looked for any other zoom lens because it would be pointless having loads and changing them all the time (for me anyway).

For not a massive price and seems to be good quality I deem this a WIN.

Only get one magnet for the car but 4 for the electric devices so im gona buy a few packs so I can house multiple devices at the same time.  The only problem is the lack of flat surface on dash.

When will car manufacturers notice that we want to stick loads of technology to the dash nowadays? ? Live in the now!

And I would like built in usb sockets too. Thats goes for house builders as well!

Anyhoo, im getting side tracked……so the magnetic holder does work well. If there is a lot of vibration the device can slip off but this has only happened once and I may have positioned it incorrectly.  They give you one stronger backing piece for larger devices so put this on the one you want to guarantee not to break.

Cost: £3.99 from my local Texaco garage. I deem this a wise economic buy and a WIN.

Never taken a close up of small things on a phone camera coz they are usually crap. But I did not think this came out too bad at full zoom of something a cm big. Camera was about 10cm away.

Random rearrange in my office/entertainment room.

So in our house we have a living room down stairs with the kitchen and bathroom. The middle floor is for me and Cass consisting of our bedroom, a private living room/office and a bathroom. Then we rent out the top floor two rooms (with WC in between).

our living room was a mish mash of furniture and i was not happy with it. not enough space for me and Cass to work as we both work from home a day or two a week.

So now i have this…….

42″ TV as second monitor

Space for Cass to work with her laptop in front of the TV which can be used as a second screen for her or for the PS3

I have been using a Fitbit One for almost a month now and i think it great!

Its small enough that it doesnt get in the way, but you do forget about it sometimes. If i get changed i often leave it in a pocket and remember it a while later. I found its best to clip it inside my trouser pocket as far to my side as possible. The button does not seem to get pressed by accident.

The sleep monitor setting is good. interesting results seeing how long it took to get to sleep, how many times awoken and overall length of actual sleep. You have to wear it on the wrist band provided. Its slightly uncomfortable at first but you get used to it quickly.

It logs the number of steps and floors climbed, it logs the calories from this really well i find. it has a clock display and you can set a number of silent vibration alarms via the website.

The website is easy to use. Sign up to create a profile and the fitbit uploads automatically everytime im near my PC. I just have to leave the bluetooth dongle in one of USB ports, Luckily i have many as there are so many bits of technology to charge or connect. I enter my activity, weight and food manually onto my profile too so all the info i need is in one place. The food log is time consuming if you have to add the food manually but i have found that there is usually something already programmed in thats close to what im having. Just make sure the calories are as accurate as possible.

The only negative thing i have found with the Fitbit One is that its another bit of technology with its own type of charger cable. Would it really be that much to ask that all companies use the same one???? So if i lose this i am screwed. Also it says to plug it in to a laptop or PC but non of these charge the thing. It only charges from the car adapter for some reason. Probably due to the power output being different. I dont know the exact reason but i am in the car enough so this is not a problem to plug it in there once a week.

So overall its top notch. Go get yourself one. A very reasonalble price as well at around £60-70 atm.

My Samsung Galaxy S3 phone has died a sudden death after 6 months use. Booooooo.

Had it on charge overnight, in the morning the screen would not switch on then the charge light went out and the phone stopped working completely.

It has been sent off to find out what the fault is. This annoyance still wouldnt make me get an iphone as the S3 is the best phone i have ever used.
